In business since 2005, Heart and Soul Music Studio offers quality voice lessons for the beginner to the advanced singer and piano to a wide age group. Piano is offered for the earliest beginner to the intermediate levels. We have a preschool piano program that is sure to please for ages 4 - 6 years; traditional piano lessons for ages 6 to Adult; and we love to work with daytime adults and seniors. In a relaxed setting, let us help you put your heart and soul into music!
About Your teacher, Barbara Githens ("Miss Barbara") - I have 20+years studying piano and continue with my studies. I am active in local music teacher associations, have served and do serve in several capacities within these organizations. Currently, I am working toward national certification in piano teaching.
Vocally, I have studied voice for 25+ years and continue my studies. I have worked on CD projects, performed in ensembles and solos and have performed with symphony choruses for 8 years.
Many of my students have performed on stage, in major music theater venues, won competitions with composing in school and have performed both piano and voice in front of many.
